This is the first message in our series called Conformed: Living for Christ in Contemporary Culture. We will take a bit of a look at the background of the 1st and 2nd letter of Paul to the Church in Corinth. Then we will dive into the major theme of the book which is being conformed to the image of Christ. We will also look at what we are calling the theology of weakness, as Paul writes openly and honestly about his own weaknesses and is vulnerable with the entire church about it. What can we learn about embracing weakness in our own lives and seeing God use it to conform us to the image of Christ?
Romans 12:2 tells us: "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."
