You are Chosen

At some point in our lives, all of us have believed the lie “I don’t matter”. Maybe it was kids in school, someone you worked with, or even your own family. Maybe it was getting rejected when asking someone to the school dance, or getting rejected from your dream school. Or, maybe someone flat out said the words to you that you don’t matter. In our third and final week of our Who Do You Think You Are? series, we will tackle this lie head-on, and learn about the traps that come with this lie. We will then learn to embrace the truth that because of Christ, we are all chosen. Will you embrace the truth, or keep living in the lies?

From Series: "Who Do You Think You Are?"

Who do you think you are? It’s not just a question — it’s the question. How you answer it shapes everything about how you live, love, and see the world. But more importantly, it shapes how you see yourself in light of God’s truth. The Bible declares, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5:17). Who you are in Christ changes everything about who you are. Yet so often, we struggle with lies that tell us we’re not enough, we’re alone, or we don’t matter. In our new three-week series, Who Do You Think You Are?, we will confront those lies with the life-changing truth of Scripture. Together, we will uncover what it means to be deeply accepted, unshakably secure, and divinely significant in Christ.
