Did your parents play favorites in your family? If so, were you the favorite child or was it one of your siblings? Either way, your parents' favoritism did damage to everyone. The Bible says God does not show favoritism – and for good reason. Favoritism causes relational and emotional harm – especially in families. As we continue our series on The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, we will look at a story from Genesis that demonstrates how favoritism in the family of Isaac and Rebecca destroyed their family and we will learn some ways to heal from the harm done when parents play favorites.
