Do you have any dreams that have died or promises of God you struggle to believe? If so, it’s OK. We all do. God can handle our doubt and work with our small faith. God loves you and is capable of doing the impossible. The story from Genesis we will look this week challenges us to wrestle with the question, “is anything too hard for God?” God made a promise of a son to Abraham and Sarah. After 25 years of trying and waiting, God brought a miracle baby into their family despite the laughter and disbelief of Abraham and Sarah. God invites us to believe He can still do miracles in our life too.
You might assume that God only works through cleaned-up people who have it all together. But God chose to work through the good, bad and ugly of this messy, broken family to bring forward His plan of delivering a Savior for His people and the entire world.
