Have you ever felt small and insignificant? Have you experienced injustice or felt like an outcast? If so, the story of Hagar might be an encouragement to you. The story of Hagar is about a God who sees us in our suffering. It’s the story of a slave girl who experiences oppression and injustice to the point of despair, only to meet God in her darkest hour. God hears the cry of a seemingly insignificant person and gives her a new vision for her life. God wants to do the same for all His people. Join us for week 3 of our summer reading series in Genesis called The Good, the Bad & the Ugly.
You might assume that God only works through cleaned-up people who have it all together. But God chose to work through the good, bad and ugly of this messy, broken family to bring forward His plan of delivering a Savior for His people and the entire world.
