Many people have had to deal with church hurt. All of us carry some form of church hurt. This is why God calls the church to be a place where a culture of goodness can take shape. This kind of culture has many characteristics, and this week we will focus on grace and truth. A culture of goodness needs both to thrive. We will look at how Jesus responded to His own church hurt with hard truth as well as abundant grace.
Many people carry disappointment or wounds from experiences with church – including Christ The Rock. These wounds cause people to lose trust in the church and sometimes even in Jesus. In this series, we’re going to address church hurts, consider what healing looks like, and explore how to create a goodness culture at church and in our relationships.
