Have you ever prayed and felt like your prayers were bouncing off the ceiling? Ever feel like God isn’t listening? Or maybe you feel like a lot of things in your life just aren’t worth bringing to God – He probably has more important things to do, right? Many of us have thoughts, experiences and struggles with prayer. We aren’t sure how to pray or if God is really ready to answer our prayers. In week four of our Moral of the Story series, we will look at the Parable of the Friend at Midnight, which helps us discover what kind of God we have and what kind of prayers He desires to hear from us.
This series focuses on the parables of Jesus. Jesus often taught by telling stories that were simple and relatable, yet profound. His parables revealed deep truths about human nature, our waywardness, and the Father's unfailing love. We can't wait to examine why He taught this way, and dive into the parables themselves.
