Authority. That word can bring up all sorts of feelings. Maybe you want more of it. Maybe you distrust those who have it. Maybe you think that no one in authority should be able to tell you how to live your life. But what does the New Testament teach believers about how we should interact with authority? That is the focus of this weeks message.
American culture is a culture of comfort. It’s present almost everywhere we look. We’re encouraged to do what we want, when we want, with whomever we want. If something is uncomfortable, we want to avoid it at all costs. The Christian faith, though, is just that: uncomfortable (even more so in this season of COVID).
