Are you following Jesus with reckless abandon like Peter did? Our 2nd message in our new series is FOLLOW: PASSIONATELY. We will look at Peter from when he first started to follow and sketch highlights from his life as a follower up until his death. Peter was not careful, fearful or anxious. He didn't hold back. He took risks. Yes…he made mistakes and failed, but he learned quickly from them. The way he followed Jesus is an inspiration and a challenge. We all have a lot to learn from him.
When Jesus called people, He never asked someone to become a "Christian". He never led someone in a sinner’s prayer. He never shared the 4 spiritual laws. He never told someone to invite Him into their heart. But He did say, “Follow Me”. We will take an in-depth look at what it means to be a follower of Jesus. The following 7 weeks we will look at 6 individuals who did follow Him and 1 who didn't.
