In this message, we focus on David’s role in God’s plan. God’s purpose has always been to build His kingdom on earth. We learn that the mess of the secular world is not an excuse to “live for the day,” or to live a mundane existence with our nose to the grindstone. Instead, it is a call to act in service to God; so that one day we may hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant!” For, even though we are saved by faith, there is still a judgement on what we did with our time on this earth.
