This week we begin a 4 week character study on Elijah. Elijah's life and ministry were full of dramatic highs and lows, danger, faith-filled prayer, times of deep intimacy with God, and a drive to draw God's people back to Him. He bursts onto the scene in 1 Kings 17 and is faced with incredible challenges. Like Elijah, we often are called by God to face difficult circumstances. God uses these challenges to build our trust and dependence on Him. Are you ready to increase your dependence on God and allow Him to shape you into the man or women He created you to be?
