The author James Clear says "Your identity emerges out of your habits. Every action is a vote for the type of person you wish to become.” Habits fill our lives, but how often do we think about them? How often do we think about how our daily activities lead to who we are becoming? As Christians, we are called to continually become more like Christ. In the first week of The Unordinary Life series, we will look at how we can learn habits, called 'spiritual disciplines', that will help us to become more like Jesus. We will begin a journey of seeing how these practical habits can help us invest into our relationship with God and bring true and lasting transformation to our lives.
When we begin to follow Christ, we are embarking on a journey--a journey that will change and transform us more and more into the image of Christ. However, sometimes we don’t know the best way to go about that change. Is it something we have to do ourselves, or is it something God does in us?
