Jesus says that God knows what we need and promises to care for us, yet most people live their life focused on storing up earthly riches. In Luke 12, Jesus invites us to embrace an eternity-minded, others-centered life of faith as an alternative to a life of toiling in fear and worry about meeting our daily needs. When we trust in God's provision for our life we are freed to consider the needs of other people.
