NarrowPath
NarrowPath
NarrowPath exists to help grow hardcore followers of Christ.
Colossians 2:6-7 You have received “Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”
VISION:
The vision of NarrowPath is to encourage and support high school students to grow in Christ through Biblical teaching and loving relationships with mature believers. We want to provide an environment for God to make a life-long impact in students’ spiritual life, family, friendships, and world view. Because we value the uniqueness of every individual, it is our goal to genuinely care for where they are at. We encourage all who come to grow in their love for God and others. Our commitment is to teach, equip, and train students to become hardcore followers of Christ in their everyday lives.
VALUES:
There are 3 main values here at NarrowPath: Biblical Teaching, Spiritual Formation, and Intergenerational Relationships. We desire students to become increasingly familiar with the Bible and learn to use it regularly. Students and leaders develop in their understanding of what they believe and are equipped with the tools to grow spiritually as individuals and as the NarrowPath community.
We believe it is important to:
1. Identify where each student is at
2. Meet each student where they are at
3. Move each student forward
We feel this can best be done by through intergenerational relationships with our adult volunteer leaders. Each student can develop a relationship with their leader who in turn is able to give sound, godly advice and mentor teens as they make their way in life.
STRUCTURE:
Our new structure of Wednesday nights consists of:
o 6:30 corporate worship, prayer
o 7:05 grade groups - announcements - prayer - tithe - teaching -
o 7:30 break to small groups • Discuss, share, apply, further study resources • Prayer •
o 8:15 Released to lobby with concessions available
o 8:30 End of night
• After Hours twice per month • Occasional Big Group Night – Elder forum, event, seminar, worship night, communion…
