Ignite is a group of boys and girls in grades 4th-7th grade who help lead worship in Son Harbor during weekend services and Breakout on Wednesday nights. Ignite kids serve by leading children in worshiping God through songs and motions.

WHO CAN BE IN IGNITE?

Any student in grades 4-7 who has a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a passion for leading others in worship can try out for Ignite. Auditions are held each spring to give everyone the opportunity to try out for this servant leadership opportunity.

WHY DO WE HAVE IGNITE?

Praising God through music is an experience in which students learn more about who God is as a way to strengthen their friendship with Him. Children's Ministry Ignite Kids will model that in front of others and bring energy to the music sets.

What's A Typical Sunday Look Like?

Students serve either 1st or 2nd service.  Below is a typical Sunday schedule for an Ignite student:

Try outs for Ignite will be scheduled at the end of Summer. Your child should receive notice through Son Harbor. In addition, you can support Ignite by praying for our students and volunteers, volunteering to lead a team, and sharing this opportunity with others.
